These photos are from ‘Shakespeare in Terror’ a production where I was in charge of all the costumes. I loved the challenge and taking on the responsibility and I think the costumes worked well. Hopefully I’ll have more pictures soon! Particularly of the things I made myself.

This was a really interesting play to work on. It was an educational tool to teach about Islam and combat prejudice in the community and I learned a lot by being involved.

This was my final major project at college. I collected quotes from strong women I know and made dresses which I printed them on to or cut the words out of. I tried to make a space which was hyper feminine to contrast the strong feminist quotes I was using. The dresses were made by me, as was the set, cakes and I printed the wallpaper. And that was my real hair.
